“ We recently came here for dinner to kick off our Frenchmen Street experience. We were running late, but fortunately, the restaurant was still able to sit us. For a table of 13, it's pretty hard to find reservations, so I felt like they definitely did their best to accommodate our group. When we finally sat, we were served by Jessica. They were so sweet and made sure that everything was fine the entire time we were there. Everyone in our table got a mix of everything, and while personally I can't really say it was the best cajun food we had, The Marigny Brasserie was a fun place to be for our group. The band that they had performing that night was so fun and catered to our bride to be. They sang songs that they new would get us moving and dancing. What a great way to start off our Frenchmen Street experience. It's on the end of Frenchmen Street, but so much fun. I heard they have a drag brunch here too, which would be fun to check out next time I'm in NOLA. ”
“ My husband and I went here last night for dinner before bar hopping on Frenchman. The restaurant was large, well lit and clean with live music. The service we received from Keegan was great. My husband got the shrimp po boy which was fully loaded. I had the sampler which was a great way to try NOLA classic cuisine. Highly recommend and would definitely go back again. ”
“ Food was great but most importantly THE QUEENS WERE AMAZING!!! Must see great vibe and quality service be sure and check out the drag brunch!!! ”
“ Where do we begin...this was hands down one of the best experiences we've had at a drug brunch, PERIOD. Drinks? Delicious Food? Amazing Service? Top tier Ambiance? Immaculate We have been to many drag shows and brunches, and this is hands down one of the best times we've had. The queens (like Mistie Bonét) were so good, and the waitress was incredibly sweet. They were very accommodating to food allergies and gave helpful suggestions for dishes. Next time we're in NOLA, we will 100% be back. ”
“ My friends and I came here on a rainy Saturday after another place stopped serving dinner. Serendipity, because the food was SO good! It was pretty empty so we were seated right away. Service was great, and before we left they started with live music. I got the Taste of new orleans, sweet chili shrimp, and the bread pudding. I almost didn't get the bread pudding but our server convinced me --thankfully it was one of the best I've had. ”
“ Great food, even better vibe! Been there a few times-never disappointed The Sunday Drag brunch is especially a must do in the Marigny/Quarter area! Special kudos to Malik and Winter-great people that make you feel at home! ”
“ Stopped in while walking past. Lynn was our bartender, and she's amazing. We were unsure what to order, and she freestyles some amazing drinks. Our food was awesome. It was pretty empty, as we stopped in relatively early in the day on our way elsewhere, but it was fun to see the live music come in, set up, and start playing even though we were the only ones there! I will definitely return next time I'm in Nola! ”
“ Whenever mom & I are in New Orleans together, it's tradition for us to go to a Drag Brunch. We try to hit up different ones and heard that The Marigny Brasserie hosts one on Sundays, so we made reservations. When we arrived the darling host escorted us to our table. I didn't catch her name, but she was very nice. Ms. Winter was our server and she was awesome - warm & welcoming with a great personality. I loved her style. There were several large parties and these two gals hustled to get everyone's food & drink orders before the show began. The cocktails are served in "go-cups," with the restaurant's logo. Perhaps glassware is used during lunch & dinner. Mom had the Espresso Martini. I ordered the Real Housewives of NOLA, which was vodka, lemon juice, & champagne topped with crème de violette. Both drinks were good but would have tasted better served in glassware. We shared the Fried Green Tomatoes with Crab and the Crawfish Mac & Cheese. The fried green tomatoes were tender & tasty and the crab was a nice addition. The Crawfish Mac & Cheese was amazing! We're talking SOFA KING GOOD! The pasta was al dente and not mushy, the cheese sauce was creamy & perfect and it was loaded with crawfish. The diet went out the window with this dish. I was impressed that the show started on time. The hosts Mistie Bonét & Cosette LaFemme were fantastic! As were the other two queens. Each one delivered a spectacular show. We all had a blast! If you are looking for an entertaining drag brunch, be sure to check this one out. There is no cover, and you are guaranteed a good time. The service was a bit slow, but the staff's hospitality and the Queen's spectacular performances made up for it. Plus, the food is really good. ”
“ Perfect service. The band was playing and it was a classic New Orleans vibe!!! Food was excellent. Shrimp were sweet and spicy. The fried green tomatoes were fresh, tasty and fried to perfection!!! My bestie had the brussel sprouts with her crawfish etouffee over the redfish. The brussel sprouts were delicious. If you want to hit Frenchman Street for some live music, I would stop here by for a bite! ”
“ Great size restaurant with the stage on one side and restaurant on the other. Service was great. Some good choices to choose from. Nothing extraordinary but some tasty items. ”
